Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

The old girl clocked 600+ miles this weekend, taking the total over 20,000 in less than 3 years. Didn't miss a beat all weekend, drove back from Kent with the roof down all the way despite threatening cloud over Donnington.

The spoiler has made a difference at speed, it feels more stable. Just needs finishing along with the rear bumper. The new glove box got used and seems surprisingly solid despite being made from foam and skinned with tissue.

I still need to service the back axle but its done 2,000 miles with wobbly wheels now and no further problems.

Anyone got any 1-2 mm ally sheet for making a skin under the chassis?

my old girl did 1200km (745miles) in 24 hours on the way back from our trip to germany, i was quite impressed...it didn't break down!!! only had the shocker break, throttle spring broke and a wiper arm fell off in antwerp not bad really for the rest of the trip. but the trip home was good.

What a great car, it has to be the most road used Dutton in the UK.
