Forgot about the void bushes Paul, I've ground a few off :-)) So can we assume they may be atlas axles, and if so, a bargain ?? Both in  Glasgow area.

Agreed, though I have seen Cortina axles that have had the void bush logs ground off to try and pass as Atlas :(

The cortina also has a different casting to take void bushes for the top trailing arms

Cortina never had Atlas only english or 'koln' Genuine atlas has symetrical bolt pattern on the diff cover plate the much weaker 'koln' has asymetric pattern.

Only way to tell if atlas has an lsd is to remove the cover plate and look though I doubt it at £200
