That why we started to attend the Classic Car shows. People are interested the range of vehicles there run from the dawn of motoring to the classic we grew up with.

We have always been welcomed, and never looked on as the poor relation.

Try it you enjoy it. All our Dutton's are Classics, and believe it or not Respected by the Classic community as part of British motoring history.

I didn't think there was a massive amount of stands and no auto jumble but it was a good idea to have some racing on. After a while mooching about the halls and wander round the clubs, I watched some racing for a while before heading home

A mint bonnet, promised to Spanners as one of his is missing, need a sensible price.

Oh and by the way Daryl, I got rid of the scuttle to it's rightful owner who wishes to pass on his thanks, I still have the boot lid in the spares dept.

I couldn't make the Saturday, just not enough hours in the day. Sorry I missed you Pete.

Made it for 10 am Sunday though, 8 and 1/2 Duttons on the pitch Sunday, better than some other clubs managed, there was a fair bit of empty space in the club stands area. Pete Loynes provided the 1/2 with the remains of the beast converted into a camping trailer

Had a chat with a couple of the members, met a couple of the newer members and some older ones too.

Right down the end of the line is a bright yellow nose cone... now I wasn't expecting that a genuine Ferrari 348GTS would be parking next to my Sierra however probably better off with us than the MR2 Ferrari replicas...

Old club member seems to have a new toy and very nice it was too.

The Pitch cost the club nothing, we are there to provide something outside the hall for people to look at, same as Stoneleigh and all the other shows.

Brian Chamberlain raised a valid point that Dave Taylor has mentioned on here before (amongst others) Duttons are now considered classic cars and are accepted at classic car shows, They are normally better attended, have more appreciative crowds and more shite for us to spend our pennies on. In 2012 I compliled a list of all the car shows being organised in the UK by Richard Greenwood, added the big kit shows and as many others as I could find out about, took me bloody hours. I haven't had time this year. I enjoyed what there was of the show itself, plenty of nice new shiny kits, a very interesting BMW M power straight 6 in a very small kit has certainly encouraged me to push on with my hopefully BMW motivated Phaeton project. The weather held good all weekend although a bit breezy for brewing up out doors eh Pete.

There were thes flags in the owners area and about 5 cars when I went over on saturday, Danny was there.

A stand would have been booked if it were possible. Dannys not being active on the forums or emails doesn't mean he isn't doing his job.
