I thought as the clouds parted, I'd give the old girl a run. Tipical neglected for 2 month, she made me work for my enjoyment (story of my life).
The battery was barely able to light the dash. Now where are the jump leads, after a search I found them in the shed hung on the wall, behind the bike's. After a few choice words most not repeatable, and balancing things like a circus clown the were free.
Now all that reminded was to move the Rav4 onto my neighbours drive (Lucky again as there where out) and connect the said jump leads. OMG that's some battery the Dutton nearly spun round, but she fired into life.
Time to get the old flying jacket out of summer storage, and that still fits (I knew there was a reason for buying XXL)
Out on the road for the first time in 2 months, I hadn't realised how much I had missed the blast. Quick trip to the garden centre/ pet store for frozen mice (no not for my tea) for Fluffy our Snakes tea, and it was not my choice of name.
Then over the country roads to see if Steve had made a start on his Dutton, this was Gary S' car until recently. But he was in bed, he on nights. Turned at to be a bit of good lucky as just as I got going again the rain came back, managed to get home before the deluge.
Good enjoyable 1/2 hour though, now the old girl back under wraps.
