Peugeot leather seats from a cabriolet of some description, Black need cleaning but not ripped... £30 and he threw the back ones in as well.
I thought the material from the backs would come in handy for trimming the doors and centre console, maybe even a dash top.
Now... where is that leather cleaning stuff my mrs bought for her mondeo :-)
Oh.. pictures to follow .

I'm on my way to ATS to play with lasers. Had a work = fail day today as the wobble was so bad I came home and got the spanners out.
I'll give you a call later.
Cheers Dave
I'll see if there is one local and on my route home.
I'm going to have to cut the tunnel a bit and make an offset subframe or cut the tunnel a lot. It still won't get near the prop shaft though as the tunnel is 8 inches wide across the top in the place the seat runner needs to go
More room yes but it's restricted by the roll bar, which stops the seat going backwards. The adjusters on the old ones were rusted in the wrong position and wouldn't move despite half a tin of WD40 and a big lump hammer.
The new ones have a wider spread on the seat runners and the tunnel will need modifying a bit so I can move them inboard by another inch, I'll be able to reach the adjusters without having the door open then.
They are comfy and very solid feeling seats, there is no way you would get these in any of the other duttons and they don't really fit in the Sierra properly without mods.
Seriously, it does take an electrical charge to blow that airbag doesn't it? If it goes off inside the Sierra it will either burst the door or shove the seat over to the passenger side, neither of which is going to be pleasant if i'm in it.
Look good Ade, side airbags in a Dutton lol
So... square peg > round hole, done.
Seat is really comfy and a snug fit but will need a custom subframe to make it a permanent fixture. I guess that means getting the MIG out of the back of the garage again.
BnQ for some 1 inch box section on the way home friday and fitting saturday.
Then all I have to do is work out which wires operate the heater and which work the airbag!
