Phaeton's for sale

I have heard of 2 or 3 phaeton's up for grabs. They are in the Silverstone area and have 1600 Xflow engines....
One has been a trials car and was a championship winning trials car a few years ago appearing on BBC top gear.
The guy is looking to sell them to DOC owners for preservation but may break them if no interest. ....

Agreed about the ford parts, drum fronts are probably the first things in the bin and there wasn't anything else visible.

Someone obviously had a large dose of 'want' and offered him money to end it (either that or he squashed it with the tractor) Such is life I guess.

Guy had agreed to store it for me if I won the auction
Always handy to have good panels to take moulds off in years to come
Not too bothered it wasn't a "GOT TO HAVE IT !!!" Kit for me but would of been handy
Wasn't enough on there to be of interest to the ford breakers

Plus longer for me ! Got to go from Bognor Regis to Norfolk to get the transporter then head to bonnie scotland

Said to the guy if I have it I cant collect till after Christmas due to where it is an the pure logistics of it
Checked how far it is an know how slow the transporter is I normally use
Still holding out for a car as a home for my Caterham k series
Would be handy to have a good set of s3 panels thou
