Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

The car is ready for Stoneleigh, just spent the last 2 day's checking the old girl out after the thrashing she got in the Lakes at the weekend.

Had her up on 4 axle stands, sorted the handbrake adjuster, and adjusted the rear brakes. I found the knocking noise too, it turned out to be the handbrake cable was banging on the fuel tank.

The lack of horn was just a fuse, and the flashing reversing lamp was the switch, which needed opening up re-soldering, that now works too. Impressed she stood up well to everything I threw at her (checkout the Videos).

See you all at Stonleigh on Monday.

I have one of those 'hoover' hoses on the bottom of the legerra system, usual steering rack/rad issues... its been as good as gold for over two years although it does still get warm sitting in traffic.

Have you thought of cuting the old one and putting a steel piece in. Tubes available from Demon Tweeks. But at least you got it nearly sorted.

Mike did you get the radiator? If not I think Steve Heap may have one for sale

OK just give us the nod, and we'll see you there or meet you Monday. We off about 8:15 from Beaumont (now THe Brittania) going down the motorway.

I am moving the caravan tonight and coming back for Leggy.
Nothing else has broken but she's still squeaking nicely on the bumps. I am going to remove my windows again and see if its just the two bits of ally rubbing. Don't wake me up when you arrive... I so need some sleep...
