Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

This may be very obvious to some of you folks out there but prior to this method shown i used my vice and various sockets to force the bushes out. however i saw someone use this method to remove some heavy duty bushes on a rear subframe on a Fiat car, and thought DOH! why didn't i think of that.......

Take your suspension piece and secure it...

Drop a bolt (with washer if necessary) through the bush....

and use a two or three leg gear puller to drive the bush out.....

all four needing to be replaced on my car (for polly bushes to match the ones already fitted to the other side) were removed in about 10 minutes. About as long as it used to take to remove just one of them!

Yeah BV I passed one of the upper and one of the lower ones on to Dave to replace his bent ones in exchange for front spoiler for mine. Have kept the other pair as my spares.
