Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

this is a link to an ebay advert in which the owner thinks his rear end is an improvement on the dutton rear.....hes obviously on drugs...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUTTON-PHAETON-SPECIAL-BODY-/121078485684...

but just in case it disappears here are some pictures.......

there now isn't that better....what with those rear spring hangers so nicely disguised, gosh i wish i owned it.......not here's the front to help you decide.

it is clearly a bargain at £1995.00 what with its 1300 cross flow engine and classified listing....i hope he gets it mine will be up for sale at 7-8000 if he gets it.

Another 40 minutes there is no return. You would be on most of the local pub special boards lol

He came to Stafford a few years back, I have the photo's, I'm sure the body wasn't like that then.

I'm also sure that having exposed chassis rails, even at the rear is a bit naughty. Not overly struck on the front end but if he uses it for hill climbs and trialing etc then I can understand the lack of bodywork.

Well it is still clearly still a dutton But in my opinion its plain ugly. Im sure theres a back end out there wait for a car like  this

If you are going to do that to the rear end then you have got to get rid of the cart springs and go for a 5 link set-up. Having the spare there makes it difficult to see the indicators and he has lost the boot. I quite like the cage - it would help me to get in but it is just extra weight, like the spare wheel.
