Comment by James Doulton on January 25, 2015 at 18:04: I have a V6 engine that I am toying with. It might never get to see the road in a Dutton, or it might, but it is just nice to fiddle with. So when I see parts that are suitable, then I have a punt. But I am not in any hurry so I'm not going to pay silly money for anything.

I did put a bid in on a GTE that was near to me but I got outbid by £50. As a result, I still have the Melos under a cover on my drive, rather than on ebay.

Comment by Steve Kerswell on January 25, 2015 at 17:55: Once made a Savage Cortina estate, had to use V4 castings with a branch cut in on the side. Making V6 manifold that dropped very close to engine, worked a treat.
