I had issues with going out of the house to try and jump him. It did cross my mind though. I didn't feel safe going out and closing the door behind me but couldn't leave it open just in case things went pear shaped or the cat got out.

I was on the phone to GMP when I hit the button on the maglight and gave them a description as he was doing a linford across my mates front lawn. So far they have failed to attend the crime scene... at all...

I was also told that CSI would not be able to lift prints from a 'wet' van the next morning... SO WHY NOT COME OUT AFTER IT HAPPENED? Because the poxy government cut all the funding so we don't have proper policing any more. 

So the police are too busy sorting out domestics in Bolton or wherever, understaffed to the point of stupidity, and HMG wonder why people end up going all vigilante on these criminals...

That scroat had NO right to be on my property at 4am, no excuses whatsoever. 

When I checked my hard drive for other alerts I found recordings from 2013 to now...all of them... I guess I may be some time. I don't think there will be any sign of him casing the place as it could be done from any car, lorry or van without him being visible. I will be going back at least until before the van went all tonka...

Pokemon - doubtful but you don't have to go that close to them to 'score' anyway.

Many options crossed my mind, sword would have meant getting close, paintball gun has now been acquired, it has a targetting laser...

Rob is true. Checking the recent recordings is a good idea.

Is there any chance that you might get him by his mobile phone activity? Since you got an exact time stamp when he uses his phone? But I guess the mobile phone "cell" is just too big to get an exact information.

Check your recordings for the last few days,that guy has been there before,he headed straight over to yours no hesitation
Not a pro thou,no gloves,hat ,hoodie an got his mobile with him but he wasn't drunk or a prank he had robbing on his mind
Least you have really shit him up,doubt you will see him again

ooo you just reminded me james. iv got a laser collimator for my telescope ..it puts i giant grid on a wall i must dig that out and have a play :-))))
