Our own personal sunny patch followed us all weekend, I've been wearing a T shirt instead of a fleece all weekend. But I have got a slightly warmer car than the others as mine has a heater... which has been jammed in the HOT - FEET position all weekend.

Wheels arrived and I realised I should have used a calculator when I measured the offset.

I now need a set of 38mm spacers to make these fit, not an ideal scenario on a daily driver with the roads around here.

I can't send them back as it was my mistake so I'll probably have to sell them on ebay, that'll mean another month with odd rims on the poor old girl.

Replacement wheels on the way, due for thurday delivery, have to swap tyres over.

diff still clonking as not changed it yet.

Need to do exhaust manifold gaskets as #3 is blowing onto the HT lead.

Got a new pressurized radiator cap to test out, see if it will stop the minor overheating issue in traffic.

Got a big bottle of gear oil, some of which will be injected into the ball joints on the front, good tip that Steve, don't know why I never thought of it really.

I also hope to get it into the fuel injection centre late thursday to have the rockers adjusted and the timing /mixture checked.

Sue volunteered to polish the beastie too, WIN

Close but no cigar Dave.

Due to a hospital appointment we put the time back to 12.30. I think it was while we were chatting at the pub.

I am now praying for a nice day thursday to do all the repairs that havent been done yet.

Only 6  day's to go. Everyone is just about ready car wise, Steve K still has a lot work to do, but he's having a last push. There was  rumour the Ade might change his diff on Monday, Dave T has fixed the bad running and fitted new points and condensor. Steve H fettled the fuel pump, Martin and Karen are packing, oh Martin is fitting leather gear knob, he should be able to keep up with the Dutton's now.

The Northern Duttoneer's Tour Trophy is polished ( Thanks Pat). Who will be the lucky Duttoneer this year?

So bank loan taken out for FUEL, weather not looking to bad. Look out Wales Duttoneer's are coming!!
