Harness bar
I'm going to make a bolt in harness bar like my old Phaeton had fixing to the original upper seat belt mounts on the roll bar. See pic below
I'm going to use 25mm x 25mm angle but not sure on thickness? Would 3mm be sufficient or should I go for 5mm?

Yeah i've heard that which is why i'm going to make a bolt on one. At some stage in the future i'd like to replace the roll bar but I just want to get the car back together now!

I'm happy it will work. I didn't make the one on my old car so I'm just not sure what thickness of angle iron to use?
