Hi does any body know the size of bolt and type of thread used on the diff flange to prop shaft joint for a Mk2 escort running the English axle. I thought it was 3/8 UNF but it appears this has a little less threads per inch than the original bolt.

if its Mk2 it will be metric  i have an english axle and my flange wasnt threaded i used 13mm headed 8.8 steel bolts with nylocks

Hi Martin thanks for that I have thought of using nuts and bolts but would have to go to 10mm threaded bolts [17mm headed ] because of the hole size in the flange, also there is a lip that protrudes out towards the flange at the top of the diff case and this would have to be cut off to clear the nuts.
