there was a discussion on here a while ago on the side appearance of Legera's.........
I am interested in those side on pictures again. also the ride height from the ground (lowest chassis rail to the road surface gap.)
also .....if its possible on those cars which have a low stance. the distance from the top wishbone to the top chassis rail......mine is only about 3/4" to 1" giving about 2" to 2 1/2" wheel movement before the wishbone fouls the chassis.
Also i would like the wheel size and tyre size. i am looking at fitting Peugeot 406 wheels to my Legerra they are 14" or 15" standard and larger sizes are available (not by me!) 6J, 18mm ET. my plan is to fit 185/60 or 195/60 tyres rather than the 205 tyres it has right now (which are too wide for the car bodywork)

That's looking good, Dave.
there doesn't look to be very much clearance there James.......you might be "adjusting" your top wishbones....that or lowering the top ball joint mount, something i will be doing as it may just have bring the camber into something like what it should be.
When I get a chance (and the energy) I will remove the spring and check what movement I have, up and down from the natural ride height. I don't think it is going to be a problem though as there are no 'witness' marks despite going over speed bumps with one wheel in the gap and the other "riding the wave".
one problem i am likely to have is that my current springs are likely to be "coil bound" before the full shocker travel is used up. i may need to but new springs sooner than i planned. looking at your pictures on my laptop the gap doesn't look as small as it did on my phone. its not a big gap though.
To be honest, I'm more concerned about the travel on my rear suspension because the prop shaft rubs on the handbrake cable and the diff/prop shaft joint rubs the transmission tunnel on the bounce. Also I think that the wheels touch the wheel arches. On the way home today I had more luggage so the boot, the back seat, the passenger footwell and the passenger seat were all used and I bottomed out lots of times.
i did wonder about the prospect of lowering the rear suspension to be much the same as the front. it did occur to me that it was likely that things would touch.
I am thinking that the rears will be about 1-2" higher than front (but not the 5" or so it currently has). once i have finished the front end mods and sorted the chassis strengthening out it will be the rears to get looked at. It should be just a question of springs......perhaps new shockers of a different length.
You are not wrong there, Daryl, it has been an eating and drinking holiday and I have put on pounds - and I wasn't short of a few extra before I started!
