Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Pretty pissed off tonight - I managed to put in a lot of hours over the last couple of weeks but didn't allow enough clearance. I'm trying to gain as much leg room as possible so I can actually get in and drive but I took key positions when the axle wasn't actually on full bump so now I have to do it all again!
I may have asked this before, but does anyone run bump stops for their axles?
I hope to make some positive progress over the weekend - at least I can attach my new chassis plate!

My S1 never had bump stops.......not needed really. seat position is important, for me i removed the moulded in seats in my car and made my own seats from foam backed 1/4 ply. much better.

i am also looking at fitting a floor mounted pedalbox to improve leg room for my Legerra. it will also give me better clearance for the brake master cylinder.

Changing to a floor mounted pedal box will give you more leg room, as the pedal operation is totally different.

No bump stops on mine apart from the shock buffers.
