I like the idea of the carbs as they will sound great...they will (on a Zetec) give a very useful power increase over the standard restrictive air inlet manifold. But getting the right carbs at a decent cost with the inlet manifold to match put it beyond my plans for a miser build ;-)
I have looked to remove the MT 75 rear drive flange to see if there is a type 9 type 1" spline shaft there......so i bought a 32 mm deep 1/2" drive Bi-hex socket to remove it........only the shaft is too deep and it don't fit.
might have to do a bit of research to see if i am wasting my time.
what drive shaft options are you going for?
I sent the prop flange yesterday, should be with you monday, that'll give you something else to play with for half hour.
I'm interested to find out if that is all you needed as the snout on it is over and inch long and quite substantial. I think putting a washer in the way would be counterproductive, still havent had a chance to go over and check the other diff out.
