nope :-)) only wanted to know so i can get some rubbery things for drums they are like crisp ...

axle comming on

Hey Brian, there's these new fangled things called Axle Stands ...... supposed to be quite good for working under a car :-)))))))

It's OK he got his safety hat on and shoes, read that as flat cap and clogs. :-))))

Could be building one of them funeral pyre things, lots of wood etc. :-)) I just looked under my mates mk2 escort and he has not got anti roll bar or fixings for one. BUT, his mates Capri has, both 1600's both on similar registration.

no front ARB... unless he has secured the lower suspension arm some other way he's asking to be roadkill...

Rear axle anti roll bar, sorry for any confusion :-))

DOH... Had me going.

I don't think mine had the rear ARB, I know none of the kits have had it. I was going to remove the axle mounts from the legerra project, just to 'tidy up' the axle casing.

mk2 Escort Ghia had rear arb as did RS2 I believe (though the RS2 mk2 was german axle not english)

I had Capri mk1 that didn't. Capri axles are wider - I don't think it would fit under the wheel arches with FWD offset wheels.

@paul nawt finer thn barnsley double pressed bricks lad.   @steve you still have my clogs i want them back :-))  @steve i have a feeling its a capri axle. the drums are massive. cound be wrong. :-)

I know nothing about Barnsley double pressed bricks..........but I am partial to a sodding great Barnsley Chop with a herb crust and a nice cold Coors ;-))))))
