Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Need new boots to put my Phaeton S3 back on the road.  Little choice at this size (may change wheels later but for now sticking with 13 inch), just cheapo asian tyres.  A couple of years ago there was a discussion on this - does anyone have any experience of these tyres on a Dutton?

I got  Nankang on 185/70+13 on the B+, no trouble in 4 ? Years. Bought something else, cheaper for the Sierra, bigger wider etc. From eBay, lasted 14 months, MOT picked them up, perishing in side walls, all 4 of them, plus they had no speed ratings on them. Pay your money, take your choice.

I had some Nankang cheapy 205 60 13 on a Capri , they were ok. Lasted and gave a reasonable amount of grip for a tail happy capri.
