Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Hello all once again im in need of some help.
The clutch cable has snapped on my car and im struggling to replace it.
Does anyone know what cable I need ? normally an easy job but I lost the bit that goes onto the gear box arm so I dont know how long it should be to match it up. I have a 4 speed bullet box and escort pedal assembly.
Any hell much appreciated to get it back on the road :-)

It should in theory be a escort mk1-2 capri cable, standard lenght , As regards the bit you lost, i'm a bit lost  as too what you mean, it should be a straight  swop  , if you mean the threaded adjusting  section  that is part of it, i think,  at least on the escort book it shows a one piece cable

What i mean is i lost a section of the inner cable so i couldnt measure the cable end to end

S3 Phaeton should be mk1 Escort - what engine do you have, you can use a mk1 capri one if you have a pinto as its a bit longer to clear the exhaust.

Get the mk2 escort. RS2000 cable its longer and easier to fit.

Thats the one I have used on the legerra. You can probably get one cheaper but thats also the mk1 RS cable and its longer than standard.
