Yes, that looks good. They could have sprayed the hard top though. If I didn't have the handbag, then I would be very jealous. To be honest, I prefer the colour of that one to my clever-effect paint. And I would like the hard top for mine.

They are not giving it away though, I haven't seen one go for that much on ebay. Mind you mine has cost me at least that much and I have more parts on order. I wonder how well it goes with a lighter 1700 engine with a high-lift cam.

It was up for sale on the notice board in the tent at the AGM boys...

Don't worry, we have a noob interested in it already, one of Mike H's mates.

I think he was looking at somewhere around £2300 before it went on ebay so if it goes for £1900 its a result.

James, If you can find someone to take a mould you could use my hard top as a master...

Theres a  green pheaton just gone on, 281108459237, in chesterfield  looks tidy

Lovely wheels though. Delicious wheels. I'd love wheels like that but it is not a good enough reason to buy the car, is it?

Since when did wolfrace make alleycats?

I agree, front is way to high even to have been photographed with the boat anchor out of it.. Either its on axlestands or its got entirely the wrong shocks and springs.

What about these James...

Or these...

Those Alleycats are nice, oh so nice, but not £250 nice, not with cracked tyres. But I still prefer the ones on that much-too-high Phaeton. If only I didn't already have 3 complete sets of 'spare' wheels clogging up the garden path already!

got some ,alleycats, here  in black , could be up for grabs  same as everything else ,

Another nice leggy on ebay in Cornwall   Item 161028810863

That's the one that Steve Kerswell noticed the other day. He has ridden in it last year. That one is pretty much what I was aiming for with mine - high-lift cam, 4 branch exhaust, bike carbs. It looks really good. All it needs is a replacement Pinto (at worst) and it'll be a really nice car. (That is assuming that it doesn't have rust like mine). And it has got a hard top too. If the car doesn't sell then I might contact him and see if he wants to sell the hardtop on its own. I'd also like to talk to him about the bike carbs.  Of course they aren't carburettors, they are bike-burettors :-)

I'm tempted but no mot, tax and no engine £700 was what I was thinking. Might have a look :)

Anyone noticed that White Melos on fleebay yet,  on the face of it a very tidy car, engine looks like it might need attension though, if the thermostat housing is anything too go by   not been run for 10 years apparently
