You can report the guy to ebay for false advertising as it does not state that that is not the vehicle he is selling.

I can as the official club account manager send ebay the same message to back you up.

I can also message the seller as a club committee rep and tell him we will be reporting him if he does not remove the photos.

I take that back, he does state its not the right vehicle however you still own the copyright on the photo's as the original will carry the make and model of camera used and a date stamp.

Cheaky so and so, at least you can insist the photos are removed , but that got to have come as a  big  shock  to find your car on ebay when you didnt put it on.

So what have you done Paul ?

Of course you could just send him an indignant message first explaining why you don't want him using your photo's. That might be the best 'first step'.

I know it is not the point, but you could regard it as a complement - your car is being used as an example of what can be achieved!

Apart from the cheek and the potential copyright infringement, I also think that it is misleading to prospective buyers. And it is unnecessary as the other pictures that he's added show the car well enough.

Your car looks good, though!

Ade, I sent him a message this morning, asking him to remove the picture, and got a reply saying that he would.

James, thats what it looked like before the rebuild, although it didnt look bad in that picture, what was hiding below wasnt very nice, LOL

Quite chuffed that Danny recognised it, its good to know that we have eyes all over the place.
