As a reference: Just warmed the Sierra up and: compression all 4 about 150psi, then colour tune shows all 4 are blue, OK I know lots slate colur tune but it works. Timing light, vac. hose off shows spot on the mark. So why does it every so often completely lose power. Distributor? fuel pump? have checked and changed both. Worn out camshaft etc. should be flat all the time? Fuel lines all changed, leads, plugs, points, condenser.  Even drove it about with no fuel cap to see if that was causing a vacuum. So there it is, just tired out, me and the engine. Pity, because its a little screamer when it works proper. Exit stage right, bring in the Pinto and shed loads of changes stage left :-))

Errr, overtaking X5 BMW's round the outside on a roundabout (and making it look easy) That was of course before I turned my Sierra into a tractor.

Remember to be careful putting your boot down on roundabouts when you have that installed. That engine will transform the Sierra and I know that we can rely on you to abuse your power. What I really enjoy in my Rickman is surprising other cars when they think that they'll out drag me from the lights. With a 0-60 time of less than 10 seconds then you can beat a lot of the general traffic and there is no shame if you lose because you weren't supposed to have a chance. And you know that you will have given them a scare and struck a blow for kit cars.
