Didn't someone ask for a side shot of a Legerra at some point?

I have pictures of both sides of yours as well, Adrian, and yours is exactly the same. In both cases the clearance on the rear wheel arch is the symmetrical (same on both sides) to within 0.1" but the distance from the bottom of the sill to the ground is one inch greater on the off-side. I had thought that the only noticeable difference was the height and position of the front wheel arch but it seems that the whole car is wonky.

I said it was lopsided, thats the reason I gave you a method of proving it. The mould fell short on the n/s by about 1 1/4 inches at the apex of the wheelarch, They are all like it.

Well, that's interesting. I get different results on the two sides. In all cases the rear wheel clearance is pretty much the same, so unless you have different size wheels/tyres on the two sides then it must just be a case of Tim WD getting it lop-sided. Here are my results for your 3 pictures:

Front Rear Clearance
Original Left Side 6.2" 8.5" 4.0"
New Left Side 6.6" 8.5" 4.2"
New Right Side 5.6" 9.5" 4.1"

Sob! Sob! "I wasn't nagging, you always say that I'm nagging but it just isn't true. If only you would do it right first time then I wouldn't have to nag you. Besides I never nag." sob! sob!

That's how a wife goes.

I just want a better picture.

I am not entirely happy with that photo, Dave, as the front wheel is a bit turned and I have been using the wheelbase as a length reference. It also looks as if you are pointing the camera down to take the picture which will affect the measurements a little. Even so I have tried and I've come up with the table below. I also measured the clearance between the top of the rear wheels and the wheel arch, which is the final column in my table:

Front Rear Clearance
Mine 6.6" 7.6" 2.1"
Adrian's 6.8" 9.0" 1.7"
Richard's 7.5" 7.8" 2.0"
Ed's 5.0" 6.6" 1.8"
Dave A's 6.2" 8.5" 4.0"

Yours has the greatest rear wheel arch clearance, Dave, and I don't think that that looks bad at all - it'll be lower when the car is fully loaded. So I think I will go ahead with my plan to raise my rear end by fitting longer dampers and springs in order to get greater suspension travel at the rear. I'll be raising mine by nearly 2" in order to get an extra inch of travel. I think that will be enough to stop it hitting the bump stops over undulations.

Those figures are from the bottom of the bodywork (not the chassis) and are taken at the two ends of the sill.

I've taken measurements off the pictures. I haven't included yours, Steve, because the wheel isn't straight and I can't see the ground level because of the grass. The results so far are:

Front Rear
Mine 6.6" 7.6"
Adrian's 6.8" 9.0"
Richard's 7.5" 7.8"
Ed's 5.0" 6.6"
