OK, so the time has come for a change - the Legerra hasn't had much use lately as a second car to my 900 turbo. I've got someone interested in taking her over, but how much should I be asking for?A…Continue

"Nice car. I think you might have a few more horsepower than you claim as the cam on its own is rated as +12bhp and the EFI was 104bhp initially, I think, plus there is the head work and exhaust. I hope that your sale goes well."

I've owned 'Peggy' since 2011 and we've had many adventures together but sadly moving house means I've lost my garage space, so it's time for someone else to enjoy her. I've spent a lot of time and money improving and maintaining her, and I believe her to be among the best built and condition examples of the model. Weighing around 800kg and with a standard 110hp, not accounting for the modifications she feels very lively. Loud in both colour and volume, Pegs is a lot of fun! I’ve just put her…See More

New wheels

Posted on October 6, 2012 at 15:23 10 Comments

Going to Bolton tomorrow to collect some allycat wheels for Peggy. If anyone is interested in the Wolfrace Street Octanes shown in my picture, let me know. They're 100/108 PCD, 15", 6/5" (185mm tyres) and ET35 offset with plenty of tread. Otherwise they'll go on ebay.

Took the Legerra for a set up at Mick Gardner Racing today, a race preparation shop specialising in suspension. The chap was really impressed by the weight balance of the chassis, he said a lot of track cars would be jealous of it. Turns out it has almost exactly 50/50 front/rear balance and only 5kg front difference left/right and 14kg rear. I posted the set-up sheet on my blog in case it's of interest. Not been… Continue
