As yours is already registered in your name and will require no other changes just MOT, tax as normal and then send off V5C changes section with new engine size and number filled in, should come straight back.
Cleaned the other side of the block tonight. Quick question, as I am fitting a larger engine with a different engine, what is the easiest way to advise the DVLA and update the V5?
AA and gearboxes, don't! they blew mine up and said it was my fault even tho it was only the clutch that had failed. nice threatening letter about going to court got attention!
"Arrogant Ars*****s" yup, Roadside assistance specialists ( ! ) are paid a premium to get you going again and quickly, not neccesarily to repair properly. So punching the core plug in and jamming it in place then put in a new one, fill you up and your on you're way. They do well out of it and so does your local garage that have to fix it properly. When ever they come to my assistance I make sure it won't run so they have to get me home ( they don't like it though - one chap was insistant he would get me going even though the gearbox had exploded.)
How about "Arrogant Ars*****s"
" hope its not like my spare block where the F******g T**t who'd played before had knocked them in and left them in there! " Seen an AA guy do that before - called roadside assistance I believe !
That sounds nasty, getting a block with core plugs pushed in. How did you sort that?
hope its not like my spare block where the F******g T**t who'd played before had knocked them in and left them in there!
