I took me car off the road back in may as the engine needs a overhaul, I have now decided to sell the car. I am offering it on here first as a complete car for 2K. Now I know alot of folk out there will say its not worth that if the engine is knackerd but the car cost 10K to build and I have the recipts to prove. It seems a shame to brake it but its worth more in bits, I would sooner it went to some one who would keep it complete and use it in the club. The bad news is its in the north of…Continue
Well car has become unuseable, Half filled the oil catch tank in 40 miles, Im a bit disapointed its this early in the season. I have locked it away in the garage and will not touch it just yet. I have to decide weather to change the engine to the SR20det or spend the money on rebuilding my existing engine, The later will most likely be the way I go, with a few extra goodies along the way to beef it up.
Dave My mud guards are stuck on with stikaflex been over the 100 mph with no problems. The top part of the stay is formed in 6mm rod, after the bend it goes down inside tube. I put a bead on top of the rod and bedded the mud guard down and then I put some on the underside of the bar, I then smothed it all in together right round the bar. I would also give the thumbs up for the badge in white wth blue and red lines.
Just a fault, When Piers was magazine editor he was for ever takeing pics at the shows, What ever happend to that libary of pics,They may be a private collection or does the club have access

Hi ! to all my fellow enthusiasts, I would like to thank you all on your comments about my dutton. The original plan was to buy 1 dutton and 1 nissan 200sx and put the 2 to gether. Best laid plans rarely work and only the engine and gearbox was used as at this time I wanted a quick project. The dutton was striped to a bare chassis, the chassis then had 2 x box member replaced, The engine was put in place so engine mounts could fabricated, The gear box cross member was made removeable and…Continue
