More progress on the Legerra re-build, A mate came round and did my brake lines for me in about a tenth of the time it would have taken me! then we took the Body down from it's sling in the garage and got it on the chassis, Needed to cut a section out of the bulkhead due to the Zetec Thermostat housing on the back of the head getting in the way.

I also needed to cut  away where the gear stick will be as my gearbox seems to sit a little too high, so i have a few bits of bodywork to repair then i have to work how i'm going to do the roll cage mounting points.

Yes Ade I'm going full roll cage, i think the front section will have to go down directly into the top of the outer chassis rail. Then I'll put a couple of fore & aft braces to join the two together, should make the whole thing safer and get rid of that chassis flexing you were telling about.

When you say roll cage mounts, the flat plates on the bottom of the cage match the flate plates on the chassis 2 x M12 bolts each side, then bolts through the body and onto the two diagonal braces that go from the tags on the hoop down inside the wheel arch and onto the two tags on the chassis ...? or are you fitting a full cage?
