Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Found a problem with this V8, 16 valves to grind in, 16 rockers to grind and polish, 16 ports to clean up 8 pistols to weigh and balance, plus rods to polish and balance. I'll be here for days! Fingers are rubbed raw and I've only stripped it all and acid cleaned it all. The garage smells great :-)))

my car wants ET 25 wheels on the front but i have just done a deal with someone for a pair of ET 25 wellers and i am swapping some zero offset (ET 0)  wellers for them....so i will end up with 2 X 14" wellers  ET0 and 2 X 14" wellers ET25.

hopefully it will cure my problem....

ET depends on rim size. 205's could be 6,6.5 or 7 (or bigger) rims.

I seem to remember the 7 inch 15's I had needing about 30mm of spacer to sit level with the arch. If they wre going on the sierra then you need to measure the difference between the chassis rail / mounting face at the back and the strut / mounting face on the front.

Just been offered some wheels and tyres. 205/50-15 Yokohamas on compotive rims. Offset is ET25. Ford four stud. Is the ET any good for Ford or Dutton?

Another cracking day, feels like spring, if you got out of the wind. Just been out and about in the Sierra looking at the sea and the small swell, that looks good for some continuing good weather. Sierra is going along nicely, seems to be settled, and, everything seems to be working, even the heater. Called in the local recycling plant and dumped some stuff and they let me out again ! Trying to find some enthusiasm, pinto and gearbox Sat gathering dust, B+ in bits, back axle in the garden shed. This retirement issue ain't easy :-))

Just past Stonehenge, it's older then me :-) tried to get in and take a picture with the Sierra, no way would they let me get in :-((  I told the guy I was doing research but no good. He thinks it was an old Ford dealer, they found old fossils, Pintos and V6 stuff buried there. :-))) well onwards to  Basingstoke, Sierra is going well, should I have said that
