however i am hoping for a better response than last year in light of recent events.....

The easiest way is for the people responsible for steering it off the rails just move their own posts into 'off topic' thread or just delete them.

Dave T and Tim can (i think) remove posts however I remember last time that happened and some people had issues. Better to not have those issues again and excercise some self censorship maybe?

IMHO The club badge was always obscure to the point being obtuse! Who would have thought that the hills are the sierra mountains and the link to the horse well there isn't really one. After all a Phaeton is a four wheel two seat carriage - that I get but the horse no one gets that, it has to be explained every time and even then people look at you blankly.

Derek i am in more or less full agreement, however dutton never had a bonnet badge as such and the dutton owners club has always been separate from Dutton. Tim even started his own club.
as for not changing or seeing this as an attempt to dilute the marque nothing is further from the truth, its about up dating a 30 year old club that represents a 50 year old makeer of kit cars.

My scuttle clamps should please you then Daryl, they are 300mm long  30mm wide with the word 'DUTTON S2' laser cut down the length so the body colour shows through, and will be chromed.
