i have one of those on the legerra, Had to fit ultra bright LED tell tales on the steering column so I can see them but even then I miss cancelling from time to time.

That bloody wet stuffs stopped the Sierras indicators working, found a relay of some sort clipped to the steering column that was full of it, ive got the water out and dried it with a hair dryer but still no indicators, ill have another look tomorrow.

And then, out of a pile of poo on the garage floor (dutton poo so quite hygenic) there is salvation. I just bought a cylinder on ebay which will fit but require two more holes on the pedal box and bulkhead... I was tiding the old stuff away and stuck my digit into a cylinder I thought was full of rust only to find its full of grease thats rust coloured and dusty ...DOH.

dual circuit 60/40 and clean as a whistle under the grease. WIN. UNF fittings though of which I have but a couple but enough to make a start.

And then it rained AGAIN

Dunno Mike but water seems to be the bane of my life right now, if its not falling out of the sky it's crept into parts it just shouldn't reach...

Just checked the black one for a master cylinder. its perfect apart from one tiny issue, all the brake fluid has gone and been replaced with water, its been sealed for ten years, tarpaulined for 7, how has that happened? How does water get into a sealed container, under the bonnet, under a tarp...

Grrr ebay bloody shopping now..

Last night - engine fitted, re-timed (cheers Mike) gearbox mount fettled and much groping for spanners and sockets in the dark...

Onward tonight, bit of body work, bit of plumbing, bit of wiring (ok,ok... a complete rewire) and I might try and turn it over with the plugs out....problem area is still the brakes but it'll be right.

No worries Danny, appreciate the thought. Not much room in the garage until the engine and box are out of the way and it looks to be a 'moist' evening :-)
