Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Clearing up trying to find those elusive bits that have vanished.

Despite many hours and help from Mr H I have passed my deadline and therefore failed to get the Sierra ready for this weekend.

On the bright side I have got a lot of the base work done and much progress made but for the lack of a few bits and a couple of days work its not going to make it. Maybe next week, maybe the week after but it wont be long.

As to Mikes clutch... I was too busy gripping the seat to notice...

What stopped us dead was fuel filler to tank pipes being all wrong (just a lot of messing with bits of pipe to get it right), no flexi pipe for the back axle (now resolved), radiator mountings and hoses got lots of bits to cut and join together once I find the right rad. I'll go round the local breakers with a tape measure monday.

The real problem was purely lack of time though, all the hitches could be overcome but just not in one night.

Its all on hold for now, I'll start again next monday after work, as I am otherwise occupied this weekend.
