Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Well done Terry and Martin in getting The Southern Duttoneers underway, you both have worked hard to get it started, but thats the hard work done, you just have to keep it going which I am sure you will.

This is now our 8th year and still altogether and growing.

Happy Duttoneering

South Westerners meet tomorrow evening at the highest pub on Dartmoor, the Warren Inn, road kill sandwich and a chase across the moors. I hope I'm up to it, B+ all fuelled and ready.

Them there moors... 40mph limit isn't it

All the best roads, spoiled by bureaucracy.

40mph? Must have missed that :-) However, duelling banjo's etc. And the tractor drivers daughter's,  dukes of chaos, and of course them strange Lotus 7 lot. Oh ar.

Cattle grids = flat out, faster you get across the less work the suspension has to do. At 60-70 the average cattle grid just goes BRRR BRRR and you don't feel a thing. Tricky if they're on a corner but grip limits allowing then as stated - flat out.

I know the roads down there very well Martin, mostly from an OS map and the seat of my pants not contacting the navigators seat.

We have loads of B and unmarked roads round Horwich and Blackrod BUT we also have bikers, f'in loads of em, especially over the weekends, had one really close call on the coast to coast and don't want to try that again. Busiest day of the week for our local ambulance unit is Sunday.
