Not Dutton related, but is a good picture of my Daughter and Son racing each other at Santa Pod.  Both engines tuned by yours truly !!  Astra is 2.0lt Turbo and Escort is RS2000.

I know loads of people with Astra G's who've had a good ownership. I had a 2.0di Sportive van that had 180k on it when I sold it, I agree the 2.0 ecotec was crap, lots of sensor issues.

I've seen lots of problems with Astra H's and Vectra C's especially the cdti's same can be said with Mondeo TDCI's though, dual mass flywheel probs, injector faults etc
