some pics of the rebuild process,

the top trailing arm bracket is broke......

the diff is sloping back a little (looking up) so that will need sorting.......

As you can see there isn't a lot of bracing in an S1 chassis, that will be sorted.

My advice is Keep it Classic! - esp if you can improve the fit and finish.

If anything the nose is the best bit of a Phaeton

There is something special about the Phaeton front end........ then I would say that wouldn't I  :-))

Your modified green one looked good Dave, perhaps something along the same lines but with smaller Lights.

Wot they said :) Good picture Steve. Would I be right in saying that Malaga's, B's, B+'s and Phaetons all shared the same beak.

or i could use this one....after a bit of work.....

it does fit the scuttle very well.......but them holes will take some filling if they are to end up invisible.

ooops scuttle shot.... :-)

From glove box to the lip under the bonnet its 12" from middle of window channel to bonnet edge its 7" the lip under the bonnet is 1".
B+ scuttles are different the window channel is more central.

That looks like an S2 scuttle, the same as my one was before the mods.

My old Malaga B+......note the scuttle shape.

you can see my cockpit mods...the curved capping to the opening.

What does the dash look like on the Malaga B+ ?

the same as the S1....but it is deeper the S1 which has about 2-3 inches from the screen, on the Malaga B+ (and B+) its about 5"

That looks like it was a nice car Dave
