Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

nipped out to pick up some Dolly sprint "bits" today and he has this for sale, now I have a hatred of TR7's, but could grow to like this one.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1980-Triumph-TR7-V8-4-6-litre-SUPER-CHARG...

my misses would put a filter to stop me buying things on ebay

That looks substantially comprehensive.  Is that for one of your left hand conversions Steve?

Interesting that, the old proprietor of Premier Wiring retired to Spain a few years ago. Might have to investigate.

They used to be the only decent loom suppliers on the market. The fact that they stopped was half the reason Martin started, to fill a gap. Although I appreciate that they make  nice loom (i've had 3) they are not perfect by any means... nor are they idiot proof...

They were still making looms in Spain and posting them from Spain. I bought one a couple of years ago.

That dried up pretty quickly and have had no responses to emails sent over the last few years.

I'm just surprised to see them back up and running.

Maybe they came back before Brexit leaves them state-less!

When did the IVA rules change and you need a certificate of conformity for a loom ???
Lots of people still making and using their own looms
If you want to get a new reg you need all new parts (apart from one major refurbished item, usually engine) so would need a reciept for a loom ?

looks nice. my neck of the woods too.

This belongs to the MD at Albert Looms recycling yard. Genuine car thats been recommissioned recently and MOT'd. Johns a sound fellow and it'd be nice to see it go to a good home.

No,but it does look good an a very solid base for a rebuild or stay as is
Might well be going overseas
