I drilled holes to let the water out rather than try to seal the leak:(

Do you know where the water is getting in?

yes ade bottom of door cards. god knows how its getting through their lol

Have you cleared the holes in the bottom of the doors otherwise they will fill with water. The other alternative is having water creeping down the seals, I used to get that until I replaced the seals with the next size up (those R seals do come in different sizes.)

I used to get that with a Mini years ago. Main reason for water getting inside was / maybe is, that the openings on the inner part of the door behind the trim are meant to be sealed with wide tape or equivalent. On the Mini it used to fill up every time it rained because it ran down the inside of the door and overflow into the footwell. I think some cars even have polythene sheet(s) inside the door itself. Remember these are escort doors so there's bound be loads of info.

Oh and new rubber seals at the bottom edge of the window glass may also help

lmfao. sure will daryl :-)))))

It's OK, I have a state of the art wetsuit courtesy of my Japanese friends that is yet to see water. It's a bit to warm for me :-)

I'm having trouble posting, very slow.

Many times in my youth Brian,  even free dived a number of the sumps in Wookey Hole!  That was in the days when you were allowed to walk across the fields to the farmers pond and disappear down the hole in the rockery.
