DuttonOwners

Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Until the DOC gets a website that works, then this Category may help in keeping it all under one thread. But keep it Club and don't go off topic.

Thanks James for the suggestion.

No insults from me Ade, perhaps slightly wrong wording. But if I want to know what shows where on in 2012 then it's the first place I go, or Stoneleigh photos after 2006 then I hope you me or someone else post them on the other sites. I sent part 2 of the Daisy rebuild and update 5 years ago to the webmaster if your sure he'll get round to posting it I won't chase him up on that one.

is the DOC password in the DT Mag I received this week. if not can you PM me with it.

it remains the same, normally falls to the club editor and webmaster to discuss and sort it.

Yep found it on DT envelope dated 19/05/2010

password is at is has been since i changed it a couple of years ago. (named after my first sailing dinghy)

Whilst I tend to stay out of the polatics of the club and do no want a committy position I do think Martin has a point about all member having a vote. Its true to say many members do not or can not attend stoneleigh but would like a say in what happen  to there club.

Stephen, I happen to agree with you,  given the large area that members cover ie Lands end To John oGrouts, a regional set up is the only way,  for instance, theres no point in me asking next year who going to a show down here, if everyones up north etc. or you asking abour exeter , knowing that  your be the only one capable of attending,  but by careful organisation, we between us could no dought arrange a devon weekend road trip , and same for the midland lot.etc  thats going to be of far more use to the club.

I expect to go to Exeter, it is just a cruise down the M5 for me and it is normally close to my birthday. Also I might take the handbag to Cornwall for a week in Portreath with my kids.

James where are you based? i forgot about the M5 , So how long would it take  members from the midlands to get to devon, just thinking about possibilities

I'm in North Bristol, within earshot of the M4/M5 interchange (it is much quieter while there is a 50mph limit through the roadworks).

Yes Mr Kerswell SIR, don't forget to change your profile name...

Too many people with delusions of grandeur if you ask me:))))))))

NEC, will i need my passport??  actually i might be able to make this one:))

Part of the problem with this club could very well be people dont like change, i dont mean this in a bad way, but you have all these new guys gatecrashing your comfy little club, and trying to change it,

Stephen, next year, we need to have a "Duttons over Dartmoor" week end, you know the really good , off the tourists routes i assume and suitable campsites and the really good out the way pubs:)))))))))  i used to when i was a teenager often go camping round totness  and dartmouth   best time  ever.

DING!!

Mr Kerswell SIR, what about this for an idea? The DOC use club funds to buy a mini bus to transport all the waffler's to Show's they could even go on Tours in it.
