Is the fibreglass just as wavey on other peoples cars?    Mine seems to hardly have a flat panel on it!    New disk on the DA sander and it seems to miss most of the panel.   Oh well, back to hand sanding

Finally got the engine running properly

Carb stripped , cleaned and rebuilt with new jets. New electric fuel pump and Filter King pressure regulator set to 3LBS , ignition timing was checked and showing 10 degrees before TDC, but although it would start and tickover nicely, it spat and coughed on revving.   Just pulled the distributor out and found someone had fitted it about 90 degrees out then changed the plug leads to suit!     Fitted correctly and retimed, and it runs beautifully.   Just tappets to adjust now once it has…

practical performance car.

Nice article in PPC  on fitting ford zetec to mt75 gearbox and reusing ford 104 pin pats fuel injection......which is very handy as that is exactly what I plan to do to the Legerra this winter.
