Hi James. My car is on the road but I think most of this year will be shake down testing. I've don't about 500 miles in it already but found it scrapes 2 up so first stop is to sort the suspension out.

Thanks for the welcomes, I was previously a poster but my log-in appears to have lapsed

Hi James will try to add some pics of the legerra when i get a chance but it's pretty much a bare chassis at this stage. The Rickman isn't much better off as i'm currently pulling it apart to use quite a bit of it's running gear for the Legerra. A mate and I will keep the chassis though for a potential future project.

I hope that I can find some time at the weekend to take some picture of the old lady for you.

Thanks for the welcome James, it got a bit of TLC for the big day including a new bumper and boot lid from Pete Brown. She resigned herself to the fact that it comes with me years ago, it was the subject of our first conversation when we met, I showed her a picture of the car I was going to get for my first car.

Hi James, thanks for the welcome. Not got any photos or much info on the car as I've not collected it yet, but I'll be sure to keep you all updated. Thanks again!

Thanks James but all I heard from my loved one after repeating your comment was a sharp intake of breath. When did you leave the Diplomatic Corps. ?

Sadly owned the car for 32 years and discovered alas too late that taking a car apart is much easier than putting back together. My wife Jan showed me how to put a Blog together. Please don't think I am an engineer, but I am ,and always have been an enthusiast assisted and supported by the Northern Duttoneers who are a very infectiously enthusiastic set of proper blokes, so read the blog on the basis of the simple meanderings of a none technical guy who is simply managing a process having put a little away in a Dutton account since 1987 when it first went into it's involuntary incarseration.
Blog Is. www.lennardnuttall@wordpress.com and the picture is of a sculpture in the Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo which for me sums up how I feel about Duttons

Thanks for the welcome James. I picked up the
car in 1984 and it came with the box so perhaps not rare then. For various reason it slumbered in a garage for many many years but was retrieved in 1998 and became my millennium project ??
But thanks to meeting up with the Duttoneers in the pub now back on course for 201.

Hi James, I'm fairly sure it's a straight swap although the EFI head also had hardened valve seats. Best to do more research though!

Thanks James! I grew up in Harrow myself, So Hi Neighbour! I bought My Dutton as a kit from Dutton Cars in 1989. On the road in 1992. It's in a poor state now having been off the road for several years! I want to rebuild it and get it back on the road again & I'm really inspired & enthused by this site! I'll sort some photos no problem!

James,

I think my car is in a pretty good shape,

Only problem is that I have no papers with her.

Next weekend I hope to post some pictures.
