anyone else find they cannot add posts to some topics?

i for example built myself a 16 X 8 foot shed to house one of my cars from a supply of reclaimed timber, it came with enough timber to build a building 24' by 12' to store two racing dinghy’s both 16' by 5'... The way i built the shed/garage was to suit the ply sheets i bought (8x4 sheets......) using a simple 4 x 4 frame and a stressed skin from the ply sheets ,......very stiff and quick to build. total cost of all the materials…

Hi Dave!
Thanks for your message! You apparently owned many Duttons! I was wondering what you think about the Legerra?
Is this as fun as a Phaeton? Or does it feel heavier and seems more like a "normal" car? It's probably more comfortable?
I have experienced myself the comfort difference between the Phaeton S2 and S3. I'm myself rather tall and my S3 had a much more spacious cockpit. The S2 has such a narrow cockpit and is also much lower! My head is just touching the roll bar..

I am very pleased with it Dave, it has more than enough grunt to use on road in order to put a smile on my face. It is also very driveable right across the rev range using all five gears.

You are not alone I purchased my Leggy off Piston Heads as a rolling chassie and body, rear axle was tacked in with weld no springs  no engine, no gearbox, no loom, no seats or instruments. Still an ongoing project 4 years later but i ist now drivable on the drive way. Getting older does appear to have some thing to do with doing these stupid stunts.

Hi Dave sorry for dawdling with replys , no my Leggy came from a scrap yard about 10 miles north of Glasgow via Ebay , i shouldn,t have it was rush of blood (i must be getting old odd things make my blood rush these days) It had been off the road for about 6 years , & had tobe loaded onto my car trailer with a fork lift after discovering i could only get one read wheel to turn at the yard. It is bluey green (sprayed over red) and had belonged to a doctor (or medical student - there was a university sticker in the window) Previously it had resided in the midlands from memory. The wiring is half disconnected and a bit of a mess but all sortable not had the engine running yet but turned it over and no obvious problems , will try & post snaps but am a bit of a novice with pc,s so dont hold your breath. Changeing the subject did you manage too get the windscreen and B+ front wings secured ? if not could i help , just give me a shout if needed and will see what i can do, Cheers Andy
